Favorite Looks of the Spring 2017 Runway

Every designer seemed to be really changing it up this season with looks I never saw coming. I noticed lots of unexpected mixes of patterns and textures. I also made note of the 'blast-from-the-past' style show in the vintage feeling floral patterns. My favorite shows included, Acne Studios, Chloe, Missoni, Marc Jacobs, Marchesa,  Marques' Almeida , Alexander Wang, Mui Mui, and Fenty x Puma 

Granny Vibes

I can't help but feel drawn to these grandma-esque crochet patterns, as I see them popping up everywhere. There's so many fun ways to rock this rising trend. I think I dig this trend so much because of the bright pops of color.

Goodbye

I made a quick little video about my last few weeks in Hong Kong. It's my first time using after effects so don't judge!! I am so sad to be leaving. Hong Kong as been unreal.

Street Style: Hong Kong

From my first day in Hong Kong , I noticed the quirky, cool street style of the Hong Kong girls. It seems as if most people here care deeply about fashion and standing out. Everyone loves to look good! The typical dress is pretty different that the average american girl street style. Some trends in Hong Kong are particularly popular and noticeable. Some of the trends I noticed include; pastel, pastel, and more pastel, sneakers on EVERYONE (probably due to the excessive amounts of walking and public transportation needed to get around Hong Kong), super shiny sunglasses, denim in all sorts of cuts, and OF COURSE, layering. Layering to this extent is the one trend I have not seen done in America yet. The fashionable girls of Hong Kong layer everything! The most popular layering I have noticed is tank dresses over white tee shirts. I have had so much fun trying these trends out myself and shopping around in Hong Kong. I can't wait to bring this trends back home to America!

Denim Daze

I'm currently so obsessed with denim right now. Lately I've been seeing it in so many different cuts, styles, and washes. I have seen denim used in so many unexpected ways and I'm loving it! Try out overalls or a patchwork dress to take on the trend (especially if you're not quite ready for a Canadian tuxedo)!
